Happy Black History Month!
Everyone! In case you didn't know, February is Black History Month, and the Black Students Union is leading the effort to celebrate and raise awareness of issues connected to Black History throughout the next four weeks.
The BSU has two main goals for our activities this month. First, we want to raise awareness about events and people in Black history -- both negative and positive.
We also want to help people at YHS feel empowered to become actively anti-racist. We want give you ideas and tools to help you take action against racism (and all forms of bias). Show your support for this important event by wearing one of our super cool t-shirts (designed by Doras)!
