Wild About Dulcimers Shirt

The Pocono Dulcimer Club (PDC) of Stroudsburg, PA promotes the learning, playing and performing of both Mountain and Hammered Dulcimers. It was established in 1996 by Bob Mallalieu and Norm Williams. We meet monthly in the Stroudsburg, PA area. Our meetings are free and open to any and all who desire to learn or listen. All levels of dulcimer players are welcome, as well as musicians who play other instruments. We make a special point of encouraging and advising newcomers and beginners and try to foster a strong sense of community and respect. We sponsor occasional “jams”, held at various members’ homes or at area churches. We play at various functions and events throughout the NE PA region, including Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. Beginning in 2003, we have hosted an annual dulcimer festival (except in 2020 and 2022 when we had to cancel our festival.) Members of our club continue to seek opportunities to spread our excitement for playing these awesome instruments!
