About the WCSTS:
After attending the International Sea Turtle Symposium around the world for more than 20 years, our organizing team has had a dream to turn this exciting meeting of sea turtle experts into a local event that will bring our West Coast friends and colleagues together to discuss and honor all things sea turtles!
The organizing committee is still working towards reaching our $5000 fundraising goal to make our dream of gathering the West Coast’s sea turtle scientists, educators, volunteers, and sea turtle supporters together for this historic event. The Bolsa Chica Land Trust has fought to protect and preserve the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve which has two Marine Protected Areas within its boundaries. Green Sea Turtles are seen there often making it an important habitat area.
