About this campaign
I am saddened to pass on the news that my friend David left the planet this morning, March 3. Thank you to everyone who purchased a tee and donated to the fundraiser. It will help his girls — his wife Joanie and his daughter Rosanne — not have to think about money at this sad time. Bills are still pouring in and there will of course be final expenses. I thought of turning this off but have been encouraged to keep it going for his girls, so I will.

I loved Mr Dave and his music. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. We once traded emails over the lyrics to The Promised Land (and he never did come back to me with the full lyrics - LOL). I miss him terribly.
His sound was formative in my youth.
David is the music I grew up with and adored
My son met David several time . At the Guitar camp, St. Louis and Louisville Ky.
My wife and I were inspired by David’s albums with Malagasy musicians. We ended up traveling for 3 months in Madagascar after college. It was life changing and so was his music. We will miss you David!
I've really enjoyed listening to his music over the years and wanted to help.
