Christina Horsfall

On October 14th my friend was working her evening shift at Pacific Brew Haus. Her kids dad had gone to Springfield that morning and on his way home he ended up showing up at her job. He was eventually asked to leave. Shortly before 10 pm her kids dad woke up in a rage. Physically abusing her oldest son and tossed him out the front door and screamed at him to go get his mom from work! He’s been abusive for several years now and she knew something was wrong. She asked her co-worker, Julianne, to walk home with her for safety reasons. When they got within seeing distance of her house, he was on the porch holding their kids. The verbal abuse continued as she was trying to grab her youngest two. Her only intention was to get her kids and leave immediately. Her children’s father turned around to go back in the house and grab a gun. With her babies in her arms, the father of her children shot her multiple times. Not only did she get hit but their 3 year old son was hit several times as well. Julianne took a few bullets and is recovering like a champ. In a matter of minutes, her life and her sweet babies lives got flipped upside down. Thank you to her angel neighbors for keeping them alive until the ambulance got there. After being rushed to the hospital the drs were able to tell that Christina had been shot 14 times. Her jaw, chest, arm and back had been hit and at this time she is unable to use her legs. Her 3 year old was hit 4 times. His jaw, chest, arm and leg. He is doing so great!! Christina and baby boy have a long road ahead of them and are so grateful for any help their family receives.
