About this campaign

April is Second Chance Month and for a limited time, we’re selling t-shirts to help raise awareness of the importance of second chances for those impacted by the criminal legal system.

More than fifty years ago, the United States embarked on a path of mass incarceration that has led to a staggering increase in the prison population. Today, almost 2 million individuals – disproportionately Black Americans – are incarcerated in our nation’s prisons and jails.

It's time to wake up to the harsh and dangerous realities of mass incarceration in America and act. Buy a shirt to show your support today!

As a foster parent for over 15 years, I have witnessed the horrendous impact of mass incarceration on children and families. We must do our part to put an end to the negative impacts of this devastating pattern of incarceration.
