About this campaign
Our goal is to raise $1000 to send Ms. Kiser's 5th grade students on a snorkeling trip in the French Broad River to see the hellbender's ecosystem. Our goal is to sell 100 shirts, so that every purchase gives us $10 towards our goal!
Rosman Elementary 5th grade students in Ms. Kiser's class have spent the past few weeks studying ecosystems, specifically looking at the hellbender salamander of Western North Carolina and how it lives in the French Broad and Davidson Rivers. Students are designing and printing hellbender stickers to give to folks who come to the Pisgah National Forest in order to help preserve hellbender habitats through awareness of these important amphibians. The concept for these t-shirts was developed by the students, and the design was created by the talented Mrs. Jodie McCall.
