About this campaign
Support the club AND show your garden pride!
At a time of alarming screen usage in children, my goal with the club is to inspire a love for gardening and the outdoors, and an appreciation of Mother Earth. I want kids to feel dirt on their hands and the sun on their back, watch a butterfly draw nectar from a flower, experience the magic of a seed turning into a plant and then a enjoy the taste its perfectly ripe vegetable.
With this fundraiser, I'm hoping to raise money to support the growing cost of our gardening activities, like seeds, seed-starting materials and tools for the outdoor garden; maintenance equipment for the hydroponic towers; and craft supplies to keep our kiddos engaged.
We have a wonderful group of kids in this club - whether you come to every meeting or once a year, you ARE the club! I'm so proud of the excitement I see every month, and I hope I can continue to encourage more time outside and less time on screens.
