Hope for Harper

Harper is currently 4 years old and was diagnosed with 3 heart defects when she was just one month old. She was born with a VSD(ventricular septal defect), ASD(atrial septal defect), and a PDA(Patent ductus arteriosus). Harper’s VSD has closed but the ASD and PDA are still present. She will be undergoing a heart cath in June to repair the ASD. We wanted to fundraise in her honor and donate to The Children’s heart foundation so they can continue to research CHD as this affects so many families daily. For nearly every 110 babies born one of those families will be affected by this disease. There is a baby born every 15 minutes that will be diagnosed with CHD. We want to not only fundraise but bring more awareness as we didn’t know that congenital heart defects are the most common birth defect. We will be walking in The Children’s heart foundation walk in Columbus, OH later this year.
