2025 NCSSM 45th Anniversary Holiday Gear Fundraiser

Greetings NCSSM students, parents, alums and friends, I am from the class of 1985 and selling shirts to raise funds for the school. This sale celebrates the school’s 45th anniversary by featuring the iconic NCSSM Durham physics teacher Dr. John Kolena. For over 32 years, he taught physics and inspired countless students to go into the field. November 25th marks the five-year anniversary of his passing. This design was produced by a classmate of mine from a Joe Liles photo of Dr. John Kolena. All permissions have been obtained for the sale. While he is known for lots of famous quotes, “pi” and “3” are frequent in many of them. A quote including “pi” and “3” in his own handwriting was incorporated into the design.

This limited time sale will run for two weeks and ends on midnight EST on December 9th, 2025 and all shirts ordered should arrive around 12/26. All shirts will be produced and shipped after the sale ends. Please review the website and make your purchase(s) to support the school. The more you purchase the more you save on shipping. You can also donate money to the school in this fundraiser. Please share the fundraiser with everyone associated with NCSSM. ALL NET PROCEEDS will go to NCSSM.
