About this campaign

Created to help his family with the cremation, celebration of life, and other expenses. If you are able, your donation will be greatly appreciated to help relieve some of the burden his family is facing. A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced if you are interested. Thank you all for the support and love; it is greatly appreciated!

It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news that on November 7, 2025, Jacob Thompson went to be with the Lord. His whole life, he endured more pain than anyone could imagine. It started when he was an infant and continued until the end. He loved aquatics, teaching, scientific research, and helping anyone who had a question. His life goal was to educate people, and he achieved it. He will be remembered as the "Fish Encyclopedia" and a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.

I didn’t know Thomas, but I follow Luke’s Goldie’s on instagram and he shared Thomas’ amazing story. No family should have to worry about having enough money for a funeral for their child. I will be praying for peace and comfort during this time.
