About this campaign

Mackenzie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in August of 2023, only 2 months after her wedding and on her first clinical rotation in her second year of medical school at MSU College of Human Medicine. She has since reached remission, had a stem cell transplant, relapsed, moved to Houston to receive care at MD Anderson, had two stays in the ICU, and has been apart of 6 clinical trials. Her doctors now consider her, "terminal," but Kenzie continues to fight and claims instead to be a, "miracle."

I’ve been following this young lady and I have to be honest, as a retired Marine, I’ve never been so impressed with the fight, grit and determination she’s shown. She’d make a hell of a Marine. Semper Fi young lady, keep pushing through.
