About this campaign

Paisley has had some recent health issues that have required her to be hospitalized twice since Christmas. Thankfully, all of Paisley's medical expenses are covered. However, Chris and Marissa are basically taking turns living at the hospital and spending very little time at home- also trying to work on top of that. We would like to help support them by having a T-shirt fundraiser. The funds we raise would be for when Paisley has surgery and Chris and Marissa are out of work caring for her during that hospital stay and recovery. We would also love to raise enough funds to go towards a deep clean for their home before Paisley returns home after her heart surgery.
They are eating meals on the go (re: fast food), which is more expensive than home cooked meals. A friend of theirs has graciously set up a meal train that can be located on the Prayers for Paisley FB page.

Dec 25-Dec 31, Paisley was admitted to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with RSV.

Mar 15-present, Paisley was admitted to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with pneumonia and a blood infection.

Mar 19, a growth with probable infection was found at one of her mitral valve repairs (that repair was made during heart surgery when she was 14 months old).
Mar 25, a PICC line was placed in anticipation of sending her home on a 6 week course of antibiotics with home health set up to come in and administer those antibiotics twice daily.

Mar 26, her team noted that the growth/infection was growing and causing her valve to leak more. This indicated the need to start an additional antibiotic, and if future echos show continued growth, heart surgery will be likely to happen in the very near future.

Mar 27, her team ordered the additional IV antibiotic to be administered over 2 weeks, IN the hospital. Her leaky valve has been determined not to be from the repaired spot, but from a new spot. This will require her to have surgery to repair that spot likely soon.

As of today, best case scenario would be that she finishes the 2 weeks of antibiotic for the growth on April 10.
We don’t know a timeline for surgery as of yet.
