About this campaign
Brennan, Labrador Retriever, was my (Kayla Dever) first nosework dog who we sadly said goodbye for now to in July of 2026 at the remarkable age of 15. His impact on the nosework community, especially in Michigan, is one that cannot be forgotten.
Brennan's nose lead me to this amazing sport, and that entire community I hold dear. He is who inspired me to start Every Dog Nosework with the mission to bring NACSW trials to Michigan and expand access to higher level nosework learning in Michigan. He is the dog on the Every Dog Nosework logo. He is why I became a certifying official and judge, why I teach, why I host, my why for everything. So many of the roads in my life lead back to Brennan. Every dog or person who I touch through nosework, has him to thank.
Thank you for being here in this community and for helping keep Brennan's memory and mission alive. My sister pointed out to me that everyone who wears an EDN shirt, wears Brennan on their heart- and I know that is so true, in every sense. You all carry Brennan with you, in your hearts.
This shirt fundraiser is an opportunity to get a highly anticipated zip-hoody or crewneck sweater to add to your EDN collection, while also helping dogs like Brennan. We will be donating all proceeds of these sales to the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine for their research for GOLPP (geriatric onset laryngeal paralysis polyneuropathy). Brennan lived his last 6 years with GOLPP and achieved most of his nosework accolades, including everything from NW3 through SMTx5 and ELT-P, post laryngeal tieback surgery. Helps us raise money for research on this terrible disease to help more dogs like Brennan- and in the process keep Brennan's memory alive, by wearing him on your heart, and by remembering the greatest lesson he ever taught me in the sport: dog first, team second, sport third <3
