Stand With Will: Fighting Duchenne Together

If you know Will and his family, you know just how much joy and light he brings into the lives of those around him. He is the kind of kid who reminds you to laugh a little louder, love a little deeper, and play a little harder.

Recently, Will was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy- a devastating diagnosis that no parent ever expects to receive.

His family is now navigating a completely new world of specialists, appointments, treatments, decisions, and uncertainty. While they don't know exactly what the road ahead will look like, one thing is certain: they are determined to give Will every opportunity to live the fullest, happiest life possible.

We are incredibly grateful that Will has been accepted into a Muscular Dystrophy clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio. This clinic will play an important role in his ongoing care but receiving that specialized care will also mean traveling to Cincinnati multiple times each year.
That's where we, as friends, want to help.

This fundraiser is being created to help offset the travel expenses associated with Will's ongoing care—including gas, lodging, meals, and other costs that come with making multiple trips to Cincinnati each year. We want Gary and Ashley to be able to focus their energy on what matters most: caring for their son, advocating for him, and making memories together.

We know we can't take away the diagnosis or make the road ahead easier, but we can help carry some of the weight.
