SAVMA Rabies Run 2026

WHAT TO EXPECT:
-Course: Up and down Grimes Way, including a 1-mile loop through the WSU Arboretum
-Theme: Runners can wear quick-release flag belts on their waist to try to run away from "zombies" (vet students and volunteers) from grabbing them during the loop through the Arboretum
-Who can join? Anyone! But for the safety of the volunteers, zombies, and other runners, no animals are allowed at the event.
-Prizes: Grand prize for the fastest presenting runners (sponsored by Terracotta)!
-Prize drawing: Earn tickets for participating (1 ticket), wearing a costume (1 ticket), and each flag still attached at the finish line (1 ticket each)
-Parking: Green lot in front of the Animal Disease Biotech Facility (ADBF) next to Bustad Hall.
-Address: 1855 Ott Rd, Pullman, WA 99163
-Additional information: Refreshments included and prize baskets for ticket drawing. We will provide access to Bustad facilities for bathrooms and trash disposal.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND REGISTER? Registration Form Required for ALL runners and participants: REGISTRATION

Registration and Purchase Options:
-Registration + T-Shirt: $25. Order your t-shirt with your preferred size. Fill out and submit the registration form (link above). Pick up shirts at check-in or have them delivered to your preferred address.

-Registration ONLY: $20. Select the "Donation-only" option on Custom Ink for $20. Fill out and submit the registration form (link above).

-Volunteering to be a zombie? $10 discounted T-Shirt. Please contact Melanie Barrall (melanie.barrall@wsu.edu). Select the "Donation-only" button for $10. Fill out and submit the registration form (link above). Your shirt will be ordered separately.

-Can't join for the run? You can still help! Order a shirt and have it shipped directly to you to support the cause!

-If Custom Ink registration is closed (after October 10th): Fill out and submit the above Registration Form and bring $20 cash or check to the day of the event.
