About this campaign

This is the first of several efforts to get the funds to make this movie. In addition to raising money for the film, I want to see these licorice colored shirts on people here in WV... This story is far from over.

While the story of the chemical spill has gotten bigger and bigger, the national media keeps choosing issues like a traffic jam in New Jersey, pop-star DUIs and dirty hotels at the Olympics. They've barely acknowledged that 300,000 of us were exposed to a licorice flavored toxic chemical which no one seems to know anything about. As a media producer from WV who lives less than a mile from the spill, I'm going to do my best to tell the story of what happened here and what's happening to so many people in rural areas. I hope you'll help.

MCHM is not the only chemical that has been in WV American water, but it is the one that got the attention. We need to undertaker that we are choosing to be Guinea pigs in exchange for the promise of good jobs, which didn't come and you can't drink.

everyone should be paying attention to what is happening in wv now - understand the implications of slack regulations. know that the lack of concern that we see there now, will be the treatment to expect when this happens in our own watershed.
