About this campaign
A police officer in Bloomfield, Nebraska, trapped and fatally shot a
beloved two-year-old pet cat named Larry. He then dumped Larry’s body
behind a shed. This devastating act of cruelty violates the state animal
cruelty law and city ordinances, yet the officer was only given a
written reprimand.
Alley Cat Allies is demanding justice for Larry and his owners.
Unfortunately, Larry's story is not unique—similar stories are in the news every week—but Alley Cat Allies is working diligently for change and to end this culture of killing.
Please wear this limited edition 'Justice for Larry' t-shirt and use it as an opportunity to tell Larry's story and inform others that all cats—pet, stray or feral—are protected by anti-cruelty laws in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We must ensure that these laws are enforced and new humane programs are implemented. Learn more at www.alleycat.org/Justice4Larry.

I believe animals are emotional, feeling creatures that God has made us their protectors and guardians. Abusing and animal is an act of dishonoring God.
Justice needs to be served for Larry & for other cats Like him. His story needs to be told so this type of cruelty ends!
All living things are equal in that they are alive, they exist and deciding to terminate a life for no other reason than to terminate it, is the rankest act of barbarianism, no different than the motivations behind so many wars.
I'm sick and tired of people getting away with murder just because the victim isn't human.
I am very active with a rescue group in Norman, Oklahoma that spays/neuters hundreds of feral cats per year, as well as fostering and adopting out another several hundred adoptable cats. All cats have the right to live a good life.
R.I.P Larry
This kind of inhumane behavior must not ever be tolerated or ignored.
