As you all know, one of our greatest needs is a small facility so that we can save more lives. Being foster based greatly limits the number of dogs we can save.  As you know, a majority of the dogs we bring into our rescue are pit bulls and pit bull types that are "rescue only" in Oregon shelters.  And what does "rescue only" mean?  That means these dogs are not available for adoption (generally because shelter stress has taken its toll and the dogs are stressed beyond imagine and sometimes very manic) and their time is limited: they will only leave the shelter if a rescue takes them.

While a small facility will not allow us to take in dozens of more dogs at a time, it will allow us to take in few more dogs at a time and grant us more time to network for a best fit foster home for said dog(s), thus saving more lives when time is of the essence! 

To help us fund a small facility, we will periodically create one-of-kind Tees and all proceeds will fund the purchase or lease of a "home base" for LNF.  Our small facility will not only allow us to save more lives, but will be a place to offer training and more outreach for our dogs and the community.  Thus increasing adoption numbers and brining more awareness to the work we do.
