About this campaign

We believe passionately in the power of coming together to celebrate mental health month to better the lives of those with mental health challenges. Speaking up about mental health is an essential part of battling stigma, and our voices are amplified when we speak up together. By hosting Mental Health Matters Day, we continue to move towards ending stigma and discrimination. Learn more about the event here!

The artwork for this year's t-shirt design was submitted as part of a statewide student contest in coordination with the California Department of Education. Our winning entry was submitted by Bridget, a 10th grader at Mission Vista High School in Oceanside. The students were asked to integrate the lime green mental health ribbon with the theme for this year 2020 Vision: Hope, Change, Action.
