Mason has a long list of diagnoses that include:
-Common Variable Immunodeficiency
-Bronchomalacia
-Tracheomalacia
-Other Pulmonary Disease
-Vocal Cord Dysfunction
-Chronic Pneumonia and Atelectasis
-COPD
-Life-threatening, Anaphylactic Food Allergies to Milk, Egg, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, and seeds
-Treatment Resistant Asthma
-Sleep Apnea
-Anxiety
-Sever's Disease
-Auditory Processing Disorder

He has spent many days and weeks at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center undergoing treatments, surgeries and tests.

In just 9 short years, this little boy has experienced more than most people do in a life time - and yet what I remember most when I think of Mason is the passion with which he wanted to collect toys at Christmas to give other children spending a difficult holiday in the hospital.

With all that he has experienced, the Ensor family has accrued many medical bills. Dave (Mason's father) has always worked hard at his full-time job and Lindsay (Mason's mom) is working part time while also caring for Mason and balancing treatment for her own health issues, but treatment costs have exceeded their ability to pay, and they have explored and/or exhausted all options for financial aid.

Mason requires many expensive daily medications as well as constant tests and doctor visits. The family's current debts to CCHMC total around $10,000, with a total outstanding balance to all medical facilities for Mason's recent care reaching far above even that.
