About this campaign
Miles4Hips is a patient-driven collaborative between individuals with hip dysplasia and the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI). We believe that everyone from babies through adults deserves a life of free from the pain and disability that can be caused by hip dysplasia. Check us out at www.miles4hips.com.
This past summer nearly 400 individuals purchased a Hopes for Hips tee shirt and participated in the Miles4Hips inaugural Virtual 5K and Day of Movement. Between tee shirt sales and generous donations we raised over $7400 for the IHDI!!!
Although we are already gearing up for our 2020 event in June, we wanted to give people a chance to spread hip dysplasia awareness year-round by sponsoring a Winter "Hoodies4Hippies" fundraiser. These hoodies will keep you warm and also make great holiday gifts! And best of all, 100% of all proceeds go directly to the IHDI to support their educational, technological, and research-related efforts to improve the lives of those affected by hip dysplasia!

My daughter had undiagnosed hip dysplasia. She had a PAO in December 2016 while attending college full time.
My daughter has bilateral hip dysplasia. She is a Warrior!!!
My daughter was born with hip dysplasia in her left hip and at the time they didn’t have much information.
My son’s DDH diagnosis changed his life. He has had bilateral PAO surgeries and is now back to playing the sports he loves! More awareness and research is needed to help those suffering with the condition and their families.
I’m doing this for my daughter, Ashley Spalla, who has hip dysplasia and has had many hip surgeries.
I would love to spread more awareness on it! That way more knowledge can be gained and solutions can become a reality.
Diagnosed with hip dysplasia in 2014, aged 32 after many years of pain and limited mobility. Recovering well following my hip replacement 8 weeks ago. It would be great to raise awareness that hip problems can affect all ages xxx
