With 2 sons and 1 daughter she lived a life from December 7th, 1980 up until December 7th, 2023 She has faced many battles since birth even as a newborn. Being brought into the world as a premature and then fully progressing into a healthy baby girl overtime. One thing was understood was that she had a fighter within her mind, body, and soul. However it was up until summer of July 2022 that everything began to take a major turn. Throughout Tuanesha’s life time she was always on time with doctor visit and yearly routine check ups and even had her very last child which was her daughter in August of 2014. During the weeks of July 2022 she began to notice unusual feelings of gas like sensations in her stomach. To her knowledge it just felt normal, nothing to bring worry. So she continued to live life as normal until the gas-like sensations over time seemed to have carried on over the next couple of weeks. It began to spark a bigger sign of an issue and concern. After which she then proceeded to one of the local hospitals to get better insights on the situation and see why the gas-like feeling still exists. This situation then led to an entire 4 days spent in the hospital after which the doctors who rotated in and out of her room began acting so unusually towards her providing her with sympathy for which she did not understand. It was at this very moment that she realized that this was a situation of much greater issue but was not yet informed of what exactly she was dealing with. She then waited overtime up until the next morning when she was told by a lead oncologist. She was diagnosed with a terminal illness known as Colorectal Cancer that Metastases into the Liver, Lungs, and Lymph Nodes of her body. After hearing such news her mind was in disbelief as the doctor then explained that this is a rare form of cancer to be seen in women. Which then led to the conversation of possible outcomes and solutions that then completely turned life around for Tuanesha. The doctor informed her that the Cancer progression was in the stage of 4 and that most times that the illness is considered to be terminal once it reaches that specific stage of metastasis and the only route to take would be to provide Chemotherapy to help a person in such a situation extend life. After hearing all of this information from the physicians she was none other than completely shocked. Imagine living throughout many years of life without a single sign of such life threatening illness and then walking into an emergency room for what you believe to be a minor issue that was then presented to you as a terminal, controllable illness with no cure. It was a heartbreaking moment for her after raising 2 sons both in which she has watched grow into grown men ages 22 and 26 and a daughter who was just 8 years old all she could think about was her children. After hearing such information it was all like a dream Tuanesha stated and from that day moving forward she did not allow that to stop her from enjoying life with her loved ones. She was a warrior who knew of the circumstances in which she was facing and she would not allow that to limit who she was and the capabilities that she was able to take on. She told the doctors that this situation will not leave her stuck in misery and that she will put up as much of a fight as she can against such an illness. From that day moving forward without a doubt she did. She attended chemotherapy and made dietary alterations as needed to help her stay as strong as she could. However due to the amount of strength from the chemotherapy and the aggression of the terminal illness itself Tuanesha could only withstand but so much of this battle on her own. Having and dealing with Cancer is no easy battle. It affects and transforms your body in many negative ways in which it becomes almost impossible to have full control of many functions throughout the body within your everyday life. It targets and destroys good cells within your body and causes disruptions in many forms mentally and physically. So while Tuanesha had every intention to battle this war it was only so much her body could handle on her own but the way we help her to continue to win her battle is through purchasing these shirts.
