Miracle Mile for Justice

We are a coalition of people from the neighborhood who stand for justice. Through the Cochran Ave Baptist Church Social Justice Ministry, we have come together together to take action. The proceeds of this shirt go towards supplies for the marches, costs for Zoom and hosting meetings and running our programs.

The mission of Miracle Mile for Justice is as following:
1. To honor ALL who have lost their lives to systemic racism toward Black and brown people in the United States of America.
2. To affirm that Black and brown people have a divine right: - To live in peace - To live in their community, city, state, and country without fear of harm or death from policing authorities - To judicial fairness and EQUAL protection under the law - To expect quality care and implementation of the laws of this land
3. To have conversation with civic leaders - It is time for protests and politics to intersect. We would like to see police chiefs, district attorneys, judges, city council members, mayors, governors, state legislatures to take their seat at the table and prepare an executable action plan to combat racism and implement humane and equitable practices for all people. It is time to hold meaningful conversations that will result in permanent systemic change for racial equity.
4. We want to spread the word for those who live in our community to understand the role they play in this situation. We want our community members to be informed, use their voice, remain engaged and be prepared to vote!
