About this campaign

Raising awareness & ending the stigma of addiction.

TAM ACTS is the advocacy chapter for The Addict's Mom national group.

Our hope is that individuals affected by addiction will come together to help create change in our communities. Let's learn together to advocate at local, state & national level for legislation and issues that affect individuals with substance use disorder and their families.

Whether you are a parent, someone who is in recovery, a friend or just someone who is aware of the lack of services and the stigma and untruth addiction is shrouded in and wants to change that, or you want to become informed, WE NEED YOU!

Because I am a mom of an addict and feel that in my little town of Lincoln NE needs to know that there is no shame associated with addiction. And I'll be first!

Jo Ann Cannatella 1 item

I have a son that is in recovery.

Charlotte Stephenson 3 items + $100

I want to support those who are advocating for addicts and their families to find solutions. The opioid epidemic is unlike anything we have seen in our lifetime. Stigmatizing only undermines potential treatment and desperately needed help.
