Shirts for Play: Mayra’s Preschool & Daycare Fundraiser

Hi everyone! I’m Valeria, Mayra’s daughter and the Assistant Director at Mayra’s Spanish Preschool & Daycare. I’ve been helping out since I was 13, and I’ve loved being part of the daycare ever since it opened. This summer, I worked on a bunch of fun projects updating teacher uniforms, painting, building our new website, and making our classrooms brighter and more welcoming for the kids. Now, one of my biggest goals is to improve our playground. Right now, we have a small area where our children play but with over 30 kids, from babies to 6 years old, we want to create a safe and exciting playground that fits all ages. To help make that happen, we’re launching our “Shirts for Play” fundraiser! We’ve designed three fun and stylish shirts and sweatshirts One for moms One for dads One for kids (and a supporter version for everyone else!) They all have a retro, fun look, and you can wear them anywhere — not just at daycare. They even make great gifts! Every shirt you buy helps us raise money to build the new playground our kids deserve.
