About this campaign

MondaysForMarcie is a day that is being set aside to fast and pray for Marcie's healing. Fasting is a way of building our faith and bombarding heaven with our prayers for Marcie's miracle. Marcie was diagnosed on 5/28/15 with ovarian cancer and her response to this diagnosis was, "I serve a God greater than cancer!" With that she holds onto God's promises. Each and every day is a different challenge but she stands on her faith in God. Through this journey Marcie wants people to know why she is still smiling and it is because of everyone's prayers, calls, texts, and encouraging words. Let's come together and continue to show her support. Thank you so much!

Marcie will be going through 6 rounds of chemotherapy. She will be reevaluated after the 3rd round, roughly the end of August to see if surgery is necessary. There are two areas that are being focused on during chemo, a mass on her ovary and one on her liver. Her first treatment was June 22, and approximately every 3 weeks after that. Her next round will be July 13th and she is ready to face it head on with God's help. Keep the prayers coming and every one feel free to join in on #mondaysformarcie. There is strength in numbers!
