Musack is a 501(c)3 charity that gives underprivileged kids and teens a voice through music by providing musical instruments, scholarships, and support to music teachers. Musack was founded by writer/producer Donick Cary (The Simpsons, Letterman, Parks and Recreation), in 2008, for the children of his hometown of Nantucket to combat growing suicide rates and has since expanded to include programs in Los Angeles, Compton, Appalachia, Haiti, Australia, Alaska, Chattanooga, Cuba, El Salvador, Oakland, Sarasota, FL, Native American reservations in Pine Ridge, the Southwest, and Minnesota.
