NeuraHope - Neural Tube Defect Awareness Hoodie

Neural Tube Defects (NTDs) are one of the top 5 most fatal birth defects, affecting around 300,000 babies worldwide each year. In short, NTDs are severe birth defects of the central nervous system that occur when the neural tube fails to close completely, often resulting in spinal, skull, or brain deformities and stillborns.

However, with around half of pregnancies being unplanned, many mothers are unaware of these fatal defects and fail to take early measures to reduce the risk of contracting NTDs. Additionally, others lack the resources to obtain the necessary nutrients and supplements to aid a healthy pregnancy.

Thus, NeuraHope, a youth organization that aims to spread awareness of NTDs, created these hoodies to help fundraise for hospitals and maternity cares. With your help, these facilities can fund for the supplements and nutrients that these mothers need to ensure a healthy pregnancy.
