About this campaign

Nick Barone was a Bay Area puppeteer, puppet builder, mentor, teacher and beloved member of the San Francisco Bay Area Puppeteers Guild, http://www.sfbapg.org/. This T-shirt sports Nick's original puppet designs and is a way of recognizing his contributions to the art of puppetry. The artwork has been carefully researched and his designs skillfully transformed into shadow puppets by Guild member and professional designer Elizabeth Leonard, http://www.elizabethandesign.com to tie into a shadow puppet building workshop given in his honor.

The 2nd Annual Nick Barone Puppetry Workshop will be on Sat., Nov. 4th 2017 in Benicia, CA. This exceptional workshop is an introduction to the fundamentals of traditional shadow puppetry, given by shadow puppet artist Wendy Morton. We encourage you to wear his T-shirt to this event. Even if you can't make the event, this is a great design to wear and support ongoing workshops in honor of Nick.
