About this campaign
Nick is one of the nicest humans I have had a chance to know, and for 50 years, he carried the burden of the photograph known as “The Terror of War.” The Vietnam War changed countless Vietnamese and American lives, and the image is burned into our collective consciousness. The photograph is one of the most important in history, as it changed the world and the war and was instrumental in ending it. The personal bond between Nick and Kim Phuc, the young child in the photograph, continues to this day. We do not always know the cost when we make images that resonate with the world. Nick has owned this for 50 years, and I stand with him. RAS

I worked as a TV cameraman and photographer for AP in Vietnam, 1994-6, and have met many of the players. The fact that the filmmakers avoided eyewitnesses like David Burnett and Fox Butterfield is alone enough to discredit this film.
As a journalist I support truth, accuracy and fairness. Nick took the shot. Period.
I stand with Nick. Will wear with pride.
My father would have been very upset at the way you’ve been treated. Hang in there Jane
