Our Madi, Madison Rae Conroy, was recently diagnosed with High-Grade B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma after doctors discovered a 14cm tumor in her chest. She is gearing up to start a very aggressive round of chemotherapy treatments to fight this head-on.
This diagnosis is incredibly heavy, especially as Madison is navigating being a first-time mother to her beautiful 5-month-old baby girl, Berklee Rae. While our hearts are hurting, we are counting our blessings for the incredible village surrounding her. Madison has the ultimate model of strength in her mom, Gail Cilento-Conroy, who is a 2 1/2-year breast cancer survivor and a true warrior. We know Madison has that same warrior spirit in her blood.
She also has the absolute devotion and love of her fiancé, Connor Shockley, alongside the deepest support from her entire extended family and friends.
We know the road ahead will be challenging, but we believe in the power of community and healing. More than anything right now, we are asking for your prayers. Please pray for Madison’s strength, for the treatments to completely destroy the tumor, for peace over Connor and baby Berklee, and for the doctors guiding her care. Thank you all for wrapping our family in love during this time. #warrior #nonhodgkinslymphoma
We are creating this fundraiser for someone who means so much to us, Madison Rae, a beautiful young woman, a loving mother, and a fighter who is facing something no 24-year-old should never have to face.
At just 24 years old, Madison has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a diagnosis that has changed her life and the lives of everyone who loves her.
Madison is not fighting this battle alone. She has her loving fiancé Connor by her side and their precious five-month-old baby girl, Berklee, who is their whole world. As a young mother, Madison should be spending these precious days enjoying motherhood, watching her baby grow, making memories, and looking forward to all the beautiful moments that lie ahead. Instead, she and her family are facing the uncertainty, fear, and challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.
This is why we have created this fundraiser.
We want to help Madison, Connor, and baby Berklee in any way we possibly can. Cancer affects so much more than a person’s health. It can bring unexpected expenses, financial worries, time away from work, travel for treatments, and the everyday challenges of trying to keep life going while fighting such a difficult battle.
Our hope is to help ease some of those burdens so Madison can focus on what matters most: fighting this cancer, healing, and being there for her beautiful baby girl.
We want Madison to know that she is surrounded by people who love her, believe in her, and are standing beside her every step of the way. We want Connor to know that he has support as he helps care for Madison and their little girl during this incredibly difficult time.
And most importantly, we want Madison to know that she does not have to carry this fight alone.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support Madison and her family during this journey. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser, sending prayers, or simply helping spread Madison’s story means more than you know.
Cancer may have entered Madison’s life, but it will never take away the love surrounding her.
We are coming together for Madison, for Connor, and for their precious baby Berklee. We are coming together to remind them that they have an entire community standing behind them.
Please help us show Madison just how loved she is.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser.
Together, we can help lift some of the weight from this young family and remind them that they are never alone. Nobody Fights Alone. #TeamMadi
