About this campaign
In a now famous letter written by Abigail Adams, she urged her husband, John Adams, to “remember the ladies.” As we race towards America’s 250th anniversary, the Juniors urge you to do the same as members, friends, and guests to come together and share our sparkle in support of the NSDAR Helen Pouch Memorial Fund (HPMF). In addition to a 5k race (link to sign up included on this page), we are raising money for the HPMF through sales of race merchandise through Custom Ink. Make sure to get a shirt and show your support of Junior Membership! The Helen Pouch Memorial Fund was authorized in 1938, and finances projects chosen by the Junior Membership Committee with approval of the NSDAR Executive Committee. Projects include annual contributions to the DAR Schools, the National Junior Committee Project, and the Junior Membership Classroom Grants Program. We meet this commitment through contributions to the Fund from the sale of NSDAR-approved Junior Sales products, general donations to the fund and other fundraisers like this 5K and related merchandise sales.
Supporters
I am a proud Daughter of the American Revolution from North Carolina and, aside from supporting our incredible National Society, I want to honor the Daughters of North Carolina who came before me.
As a member of the Edenton Tea Party Chapter NSDAR I am especially honored and pleased to purchase and proudly wear a shirt to support the Junior membership!
DAR pride and to support our juniors
We have some terrific Jr members in our chapter who go above and beyond the duties of paging, fundraising, involved in committees and always the first to volunteer when the needs arise. How can I not support their efforts for more awareness.
Love our Juniors!
