About this campaign

100 percent of proceeds will be used to fund our rescue efforts!

New York City is home to tens of thousands of stray animals, and this number continues to rise rapidly. Some of these animals have been abandoned by careless pet owners, while others are born to a life on the streets. No matter what the circumstance, the grim reality is that the majority of strays do not live passed the age of three. Every day, they struggle to find access to food, shelter and water. Many others die after being struck by a car, ingesting rat poison or freezing to death during the cold winter months.

NYCARG is a New York City-based not-for-profit rescue group comprised solely of volunteers. The majority of our volunteers have full-time jobs and dedicate their time to the organization for the love of animals. Operating on donations alone, NYCARG relies heavily on the generosity of others. NYCARG is always seeking new volunteers to assist with everything from fostering to trapping to social media management.
