About this campaign

Please visit baskingridgeoaktree.org for more information related to the tree's history created by the Historical Society of the Somerset Hills.

A design contest was held at William Annin Middle School and a sixth grade student's design was ultimately selected by the Oak Tree Task Force. This unique, hand drawn design created by Hannah Shen did an excellent job of capturing the spirit of the tree.

When we first moved to BR our home backed up to the church. (You did have to use the tree that had fallen to cross). Loved seeing the tree walking hm from Maple Ave.

My hometown growing up, Basking Ridge was and still is a very important part of my family's life.

The oak tree is part of the fabric of Basking Ridge. I am going to miss it.

I served in ministry at Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church first as a seminary intern and later as an Interim Associate Pastor. My office window looked out across Oak Street to this magnificent tree. Many memories I will never forget.
