One Spark Academy Merch!

One Spark Academy was founded in July 2011 as an exploratory learning center for middle school age students who need a more flexible, individualized, and focused learning environment than most traditional schools can offer. We serve students grades 6th-8th, with some courses available for older students (high school). In 2011, we started with seven students, and steadily grew to about 37-48 students, on average, per year. Students attend One Spark Academy for many reasons, including enrichment, academic support, unique hands-on opportunities (such as gardening or cooking), social and emotional activities, or a combination thereof. Our mission is to provide a safe, connected, and focused learning environment for our students, while exploring various new methods of teaching to share with the broader community.We are not an accredited school, which means we can work with students in public programs to supplement their learning. In 2012 we became a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, One Spark Foundation, Inc.
