Growing up, we just assumed "orbisculate" was a word. Our father, Neil Krieger, had been using the term ever since he invented it back in college to describe that moment when you dig your spoon into a grapefruit and it squirts juice directly into your eye. In fact, we only discovered that the word was made up after losing a $5 bet to a friend over whether or not it was in the dictionary.

Our father passed away in April from Covid-19, and this word is hardly the only legacy he left us. He also taught us the value of finding a way to laugh even in dark times; of following your own path; and of making up your own solution to a problem whenever you don't like the ones in front of you.

So we thought a fitting way to honor his memory would be to try to get his word into the dictionary (plus, maybe it would help us get our $5 back). Wearing these T-shirts is one fun way to spread the word, and it's also a way to support a wonderful charity.
