About this campaign
It’s the Giving Season and, this year, we’re rallying support for our Long-eared Owl Project. As the longest running study in North America, we truly take the “Long View on Long-eared Owls.” Our trusted data creates the foundation for effective conservation efforts.
When we decided to create a t-shirt featuring Long-eared Owls, we knew just where to turn - to Brian Rusnica, of course!
Brian is the brains and design talent behind Hawk Season (one-stop-shopping for those who are passionate about raptors and great design!) Brian is actively involved in hawk migration counts, is on the Board of Directors for Eastern Mass Hawk Watch, and can be found photographing hawks in all locations to share with the world of raptor lovers! Brian created this one-of-a-kind design to represent the work we do around this species. “Taking the Long-view on Long-eared Owls” refers to our mission of long-term research and monitoring – an approach that has resulted in over 30 years of important population data on Long-eared Owls.

And a huge thanks to all of you for keeping this research going strong! We appreciate your support so much!

Thank you for all you do!
I have been following ORI for a number of years, due to my love of owls and really appreciate the grassroots, on-the-ground, nature of their work.
ORI and Denver Holt do wonderful work.
ORI does important work & are good 2 leggeds!
ORI does so many amazing things for OWLS! I am sooo happy to be able to support them.
I think Melissa Groo’s IG account led me here! I love owls, but can never find them in the wild, so I love the photos and the long-term research you are doing!
Denver’s work is vital, and he is a wonderful man.
A long-eared owl statistics event in Pablo in which I volunteered several years ago was the beginning of my love for birds, which has now become an intense hobby in my retirement!
