It's time to Paint the Parish Pink.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Every October, the color "Pink" brings together thousands of people, all with the same aim – to wear pink, raise money and help make life-saving breast cancer research happen.
Plaquemines Parish Entities, Residents, and Business Owners, we ask that you wear your shirt on October 26th, 2022, and help us support breast cancer awareness. Shirt proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation..

I had family die from cancer. Just trying to do my part.
I lost my mom to inflammatory breast cancer several years back as well as an aunt. I also have a cousin and a friend who is currently fighting. I will support breast cancer awareness until there is a found cure for this terrible disease.
I have had so many relatives and friends die from cancer. I will always support the cause.
