About this campaign

The Pan-Cure 57.6 Mile Challenge represents the 57,600 men, women, and children that will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2020. In an effort to promote awareness of this deadly disease and to continue the work of the Pancreatic Cancer Cure Foundation, this “anything goes” event asks that you login 57.6 miles of something between November 8-21, 2020. You can walk, run, prance, bicycle ride, leap, shuffle, or dance your way through the miles! For registering, you can select one (or more!) of these awesome shirts! The proceeds of t-shirt sales will be donated to our cause. Not up for logging all those miles? Feel free to simply donate to our cause using the "Buy/Donate" button!

PCCF supports ongoing pancreatic cancer research at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA (https://hospitals.jefferson.edu/departments-and-services/pancreas-biliary-and-related-cancer-center.html) and funds compassionate care for pancreatic cancer patients at St. Luke’s Cancer Center in Quakertown, PA (https://www.slhn.org/cancer/types-and-treatments/cancers-we-treat/digestive-cancers/pancreatic-cancer). To date, we have donated over $200,000!

Help us help these amazing organizations as they continue with their research efforts and awareness, advocacy, and compassionate care campaigns with an emphasis on progressive programs and initiatives! Register today and get ready to move!

We're social! Share your progress by posting selfies or your Strava or GPS workouts on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter tagging @amysriderunwalk and use the hashtags #57.6 and #pan-cure. Or feel free to print and share your Progress Tracker (encouraged, but not required). Share your inspiration with the community!Pan-Cure 576 Challenge Progress Trackerpng

A little history here:
This is our first virtual event! Our organization is inspired by the courage of two amazing women: Amy Cygan Spier who lost her 3-year battle with pancreatic cancer in 2014 and Jean Loggia who was conquered the disease in 2013. We look forward to continuing our in-person events, Amy's Ride/Run/Walk (Quakertown, PA) and Paint the Trail Purple (Conshohocken, PA) in the future and would love to have you join us!
