Announcing the Spay it Forward fundraising initiative by PAWS of Nome! Spay it Forward is a fundraising campaign that contributes directly to community-driven initiatives through PAWS of Nome non-profit efforts. If you want to support saving puppies and kitties, providing free supplies like doghouses and straw, free access to medical care like vaccines and spay/neuters, and contribute to the volunteerism and future secondary education access for rural Alaska youth - we have just what you need - PAWS swag available at the click of a button! So here is our first campaign, and we anticipate more to come as we roll Spay it Forward out into our physical and virtual communities of Good People!

PAWS of Nome is pleased to announce our new scholarship available to local high school seniors - The "Pawsitive" Influence Award! A combination of board member contributions and a portion of all Spay it Forward fundraising efforts will fund our annual scholarship award. Volunteering for animals can be hard work, and not always glorious - we want to recognize and support our philanthropic youth who are positive models of influence in our communities!

I support this organization because they are literally the stop gap for animal care in the Bering Strait region. Without which puppies and kittens wouldn't receive low cost spay/neuters, food, straw and dog houses.
