About this campaign
The Scribes & Vibes PEACE, LOVE & PURPLE initiative encourages art as activism and promotes domestic violence awareness. With your help we can continue to provide a platform for the community to enjoy the arts and draw attention issues that affect the community as a whole. Purchase a PEACE, LOVE & PURPLE t-shirt to help us fund free family friendly programs at the library, positive recreational activities within the community, and domestic violence awareness beyond National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
We invite you to help us PAINT THE CITY PURPLE on Saturday, October 8th during our National Domestic Violence Awareness program at Stonecrest Library. Domestic violence impacts women, men, and children; we respectfully request that you help us spread peace and love by putting on purple to:
Stand in solidary with those that have mourned and those that are mourning because of domestic violence
Celebrate those that have survived and those that are surviving domestic violence
Connect with those that are advocating to end domestic violence
Draw attention to the elephant in the room
