Celebrating PEAS 15th Anniversary

What began in 2011 as a school and community farm project has blossomed into PEAS, serving over 34,000 students, 241,000 engaged hours of lessons and $4.7M invested within Austin. We partner with schools to deliver direct programming, during the school day, to over 3,000 students every school year.

Our dedicated Outdoor and Edible Education Specialists partner with teachers to lead engaging lessons in school gardens, outdoor classrooms, and pop-up kitchens to bring academic and social-emotional learning to life.

Our community of supporters makes this milestone possible, including educators, volunteers, donors and sponsors. Thank you for believing in hands-on outdoor education and culinary lessons that help students connect to nature, learn where their food comes from, gain social-emotional skills and build their environmental literacy!
