Petey and Pup

Our three year old son, Peter, is physically and intellectually disabled due to severe brain defects. Peter is extremely social and thrives when he's around other people and animals. We decided it would be very helpful to him to have a companion animal and recently surprised him with the sweetest pup named Ollie. Ollie is a 3 month old dachshund who has already fallen in love with Peter. Our goal is to have Ollie professionally trained in a way that will benefit Peter's social and emotional development. After researching, we have found a trainer that is the perfect fit for him. Ollie would attend a 7 day camp as soon as possible and then would return for an 18 day camp around 6 months old. The total cost is $5000 but we believe it would be totally worth it for Peter and we know there are so many who LOVE supporting him and being part of his journey.

Obedience training is the gateway to more advanced service-animal training and Ollie is the ideal age to start! Thank you for being on this journey with us!
