PHS Panther Art 2026 Apollo Mission To The Moon

Around 70 students from grades 9-12 will work the entire school year to create and add to a permanent 3D display in an area roughly 14’wide x 30'long x 25’high, This year we are updating our 2017 Space Shuttle display with historical, modern, and sci-fi elements of space travel. New features added include a giant moon, Apollo 11 lander, Apollo 13 spacecraft, Neil Armstrong display, SpaceX Falcon launch, Battlestar Galactica, Starship Enterprise, a Stargate, two jumpgates, and more! Some students might only spend an hour working on this, some three weeks, and some might spend several hours every day the entire year. Purchasing one of these shirts or sweatshirts helps to offset the costs of this project. Our last four projects have ended up costing about $2500-$4000 each. The generosity in both funds, equipment, and advice in our previous years have made all the difference in being able to spend that much money on such a project. With rising costs, this year's project has already cost $3910.00. These permanent displays have become a focal point in Powell High School, and your continued support is greatly appreciated!
