Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival Loves You

2015 is PFCM's 4th season! 

Over the past 3 summers, the Pikes Fall Chamber Music Festival has turned into the love of my life. Jamaica, VT is a special place that has welcomed us with open arms; because of this hospitality, the festival has now established a unique environment full of friends, family, community members, and travelers. The people we've met are incredible, and every moment has been full of inspiration, musically and personally. 

PFCM in 2015 will have evening concerts in Jamaica, VT that are also played in Weston. Shorter preview concerts will be held in the Jamaica State Park, the Jamaica Farmer's Market, and the West River Farmer's Market. The festival will also host an an open rehearsal and a community potluck with an open mic, as well as a collaboration with Vermont singer and musician Laura Molinelli. As always, the final concert will include a collaborative world premiere that combines music and visual art. 

PFCM wants to become a lasting part of Jamaica's artistic community. Ultimately, the festival's goals include a 3-week session in the summertime, along with a shorter residency in the winter or spring. In addition, the ideal would be to enlarge the educational component to involve a fellowship for young musicians, composers, and visual artists from the area to work alongside PFCM musicians and artists.
