Planting for Earth

Each year planet Earth loses 15.3 billion trees to harvesting and only 5 billion are replanted. That is a staggering amount and we are not planting enough to keep up. In a few hundred years, we might lose all of them, think about how planet earth will be without trees - uninhabitable. Plants have been a big part of my life, especially in the last few years (check out my IG @siloliage). They have given me so much; from making my home a little livelier to my safe space in helping me with my mental health. The thought of losing all these plants, especially trees that take years and years to grow is devastating. So for earth day this year, I would like to raise funds for the Canopy Project via earthday.org where one product sold equals approx 8 trees planted. A little goes a long way! Ps. The illustration is designed by me, so it’s extra special. Home is where my plants are, and planet Earth is home to all of us.
