About this campaign

On May 4, 2022, New Jersey will be banning single-use plastic bags and there's no better time to support PMFP and our exclusive tote bag launch!

The large, reinforced bottom & gusseted sides will be your staple go-to tote for your heavy grocery runs. They are 100 % cotton canvas so should a milk carton leak or those eggs break, you can wash your totes as many times as you like!

Additionally, the custom designed art work, by famed local artist Leon Rainbow, makes this a “must be seen about town” tote bag in Princeton.

The PMFP Tote fundraiser will raise funds to help PMFP provide fresh groceries to over 180 families (over 900 people) in Princeton.

Finally, we ask that you consider purchasing bags for the pantry, enabling us to deliver proteins and produce to the families we serve in a sustainable way.

When purchasing bags for PMFP please indicate in the comments section when checking out how many of your total purchased are to be donated to PMFP. We will coordinate distribution of your bags 3 weeks after the fundraiser closes.

The mission of the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry is to provide food and other support to underserved members of the Princeton, NJ community. Over 900 neighbors, the majority of whom are connected to Princeton Public Schools, are on the biweekly delivery list. Ranging in age from infant to senior citizen, as well as diverse races and ethnicities, identities, backgrounds, and abilities. Our deliveries are biweekly consisting of fresh, culturally relevant proteins, fruits and vegetables purchased from a partner, McCaffrey’s Markets. We also coordinate donations of essentials from partner organizations and private supporters: shelf-stable food; baby and feminine hygiene supplies; and more. PMFP also holds special drives for cold and hot weather; holiday celebrations, and in response to requests from neighbors (i.e. active toys for outdoor play.) Volunteers pack all of these items onsite at Princeton Shopping Center, which are then delivered by volunteers directly to neighbors.
