In the Army soldiers spend days and even months in secluded locations to train for combat or being deployed on foreign land in hazardous conditions. While training at these locations soldiers are given rations to eat which are not very good to eat. When we are told we have to go on a field mission the first thing that pops in our minds is POGEY BAIT! What is Pogey Bait you might ask? Pogey Bait is what soldiers call snack foods that you’re not really supposed to have.But we bring it on our field missions to make life a little better. Just imagine living 30 days in the woods with no showers and no option to leave. The whole time sleeping in a tent with 20 other people and barely getting any sleep. Nothing will make your day better than opening up your favorite snack food and taking a break.
