About this campaign

N5c 477974 was built July 13, 1942 in Altoona, PA by the Pennsylvania Railroad. It was one of two hundred such cars the railroad started building in 1941. Society members are restoring the N5c to its 1942 appearance. There are only a few left, and this will be the most accurate with a complete restoration.
